About

As far as I can remember, my first contact with photography goes back to my childhood, when pictures were all captured on film. My father was using an old Olympus camera, which was following us everywhere we went. Sometimes, I was allowed to use it, but I do not recall taking pictures with it. Although I probably took a few ones, I was actually afraid of freezing time with it. I enjoyed looking at the world through the viewfinder better, it was kind of magic. Even if I wanted to capture this magic, I didn’t know what to do with the camera, how to capture the instant. In fact, I was just a child who didn’t think he would be able to catch this magical time, then look at it on paper again and again…

Today, I do not pretend to capture this magic I was seeing as a child, but each time I take a picture, I do feel this reminiscent moment of my childhood.
